"Don't stop me now" ... some of the lines resonate to the spirit of being a senior with a future to claim:

My hope is the AVID 12 scholars can find the joy in the journey and not let the stress of college deadlines and AP courses keep them from savoring this special time in their lives ... "my future is what I see, drama free, all eyes on me, college is where I'll be ... there's no stopping me!"

ReplyDeleteI think this is by far my favorite post. I find it very cool how Google was able to create a mini-music video in memory of Freddie Mercury. It filled me with so much zeal and life. It truly inspired me to believe even more that I'm finally a senior that can't and won't be stopped for any reason what so ever because I have places to go. I really liked how you recalled an AVID scholar of 2010 and made it relevant to her experience so far in her journey through college. I think that this song will really work for me as a motivator and a reminder that I can't be stopped from excelling in my academic career.
