Today was a day of errands ... first to Walmart to get my new glasses and of course some odds and ends. Kurt and Cody always find a way to amuse themselves while I shop ....
Then it was off to the movies to see Rise of the Planet of the Apes ... intense! I grew up with the Planet of the Apes movies - I never really understood how the transition from the human race to the ape race happened. Well the bridge has been gapped. Every time we try to change the course of nature, there is a penalty to pay. This one was steep. In an effort to help save his father from alzheimer's, the entire human population is placed at risk. Ethical questions run deep throughout the film. Looking forward to the sequel!
