A lesson from a Ninja lunch box ...
This morning Cody left his ninja lunch box on the bus. That meant he had to eat the school lunch. He said it was awful and that he had a stomach ache all day from it. The reason I found all this out is because he called while I was in the middle of my Alternative Education PD event to tell me that because I told him to carry his lunch box instead of putting it in his book bag, he left it on the bus. After another 14 hour day I was not in the mindset to hear my eleven year old try to blame me for his lunchbox drama. The conversation went from bad to UGLY in record time. But eventually I was able to get him to accept responsibility for the predicament he faced today. Let's hope he learned his lesson on varying levels.
