Thanks to the Maryland Writing Project, this meaningful year long activity is going to help my AVID seniors remember not just bits and pieces of their senior year, but bits and pieces of each DAY of their senior year. Another one on his way ...
Khalil Campbell came to say good-bye to all his favorite teachers before heading to Hofstra University! I thought of the line from the Sugarland song "Shine the Light" as I bid my special musician farewell ... "Waiting there in the end, is a heart that calls you a friend. ...That's me, clapping the loudest, welcoming you home."
