The start of the Advent Calendar...
I like new beginnings and count downs. Today Cody and I started to build our new LEGO advent candle. We build up as we count down the days to Christmas. Only 24 more days till we celebrate the best birthday of all - Jesus.
With his birth comes our salvation. What an incredible burden He carried - makes me feel guilty for complaining about mine ...
While yesterday was their actual birthday, today in AVID we celebrated the lives of the Williams' twins: Jordan and Ryan. This family has such a special place in my heart. I feel blessed beyond measure to have been able to share in part of this journey. I feel like I blinked and the two of them were "all growed up". Cody looks up to Ryan and Jordan. They are both so good with him and he just can't wait to be as big and as cool as them. I am grateful for their positive presence in his life.
