This is Luz. She is quite possibly the sweetest thing I've met in a long time. She is the essence of a life-long learner who is driven by passion. Today in class with her thick Hispanic accent, she said, "When my principal comes in to my class to read, I want to kill myself with a banana." Now there is an idiom that doesn't translate well but certainly made the class erupt with laughter. Keep 'em comin' Luz! :)
Back to reality. UGH. How did I screw this up? I have been living in la-la land and have not been keeping track of details. A paper was due today and I haven't even started it. I'm supposed to be in two classes at the same time. I have another paper due tomorrow that I haven't started and my ear is still ringing from the flight...calgon take me away!
