What's LOVE got to do with it?
Today I gave my AVID 11 students a writing prompt after a 10 minute explanation of why I hadn't been in school. Two and half days out of the building helped me find some much needed perspective.
With Tina Turner playing in the background, I asked them, "what does LOVE have to do with it?" When it comes to our AVID family it is going to take more than love to get us to the promise land.
