Thanks to the Maryland Writing Project, this meaningful year long activity is going to help my AVID seniors remember not just bits and pieces of their senior year, but bits and pieces of each DAY of their senior year. Here you will find my photos and thoughts for the next 365 days. I am certain this will be one of the most rewarding projects my students and I do. First a click of the camera, then the happy clicking of my keyboard. Let the journey begin...

Project 365: Day #2.1 - Monday, August 29th, 2011
It looks like Ms. Keith is studying a box ... but in reality she is trying to figure out what to do with the mouse she helped me catch. This "sweet" little creature was making a nest inside the laptop desk on top of my desk. I had already had close encounters with the furry kind every night I stayed late at school. I watch them come in and out of the door across from the foods and nutrition room. They scurry in like they are invited or something. Freaks me out! Don't let their cute little appearance fool you - these mice are brash and brazen and must be stopped!
The entry below was sent from a text message - now let's see how easy it is to post to my blog from my email?!?
I see now that what I type as the subject becomes the blog's title. This could make it much easier to stay up to date. Now I need to figure out how to add the pictures I took yesterday.
