Well today marked my 19th first day of school. It is still exciting but not as nerve racking because I know almost all of my students - another perk to teaching AVID. Today I met maybe 10 new students which makes it so much easier to jump right into the job of learning and teaching when 95% of my students know me, know our routine, and are ready to act now! :) It felt great to see my AVID babies.
Today also marked Cody's first day of 4th grade. He wouldn't pose for my usual first day shot so I discreetly took a couple shots while he was getting on the bus. We had a great morning and my warrior note made him stand tall, smile and hug me tight.
