Project 365: Day 64 - Thurs, July 8th, 2010

Last Day of Class!

That's it my friends - no MAS!

Today was the last class I have to attend for the summer session. That feels GOOD! No more driving - no more parking meters - no more pushing Cody off on other people! (Or, if you count the last two days, trying to find ways to occupy him while he waits outside our classroom). Luz, one of my Effective Leadership companions, bought a book for Dr. Hawkins. What a sweet gesture ... Dr. Hawkins used it as a TPOV (teachable point of view) and said, "That Luz - she certainly is a connector." :) We all signed the front and thanked him for a great class. I think he told us how much he appreciated our class at least 10 times. Such a sweet man. He also handed back our exams - I only missed one question which landed me a 97/100! Tomorrow our grades will be posted - I think I only missed 5 points the entire semester. Three from the 1 multiple choice question I missed and 2 points for turning in a paper late (typical right?)... I'm grateful for Dr. Hawkins, my classmates, and the course - I have new found appreciation for the study and ART of leadership. I look forward to the opportunity to put some of my new learning into practice.
