Have you ever been asked which historical figure you would invite to dinner? Well Frida Kahlo would be my number one invite. She is my hero and inspiration. She was everything I try to be: hardworking, tenaciuos, passionate, creative, forgiving, unique, fashionable, and loyal. She survived tragic accidents, deaths and love affairs. She made self-portraits that remind me that how I view myself is much more important than how others view me.

Viva Frida! Your beauty and spirit lives on through the art that inspires me to see past the hardships the life brings and look within myself for the grace and courage to persevere.
