RIP Lionel
Here in is the day I will put my free lawn mower to rest. Almost 5 years ago to the weekend, a friend of mine gave me a free lawn mower as a house warming gift. Five summers later I think Lionel the Lawnmower must be paid his last respects. But why oh why did you have to die now? On Mother's day weekend? On the weekend I am reminded that I have no one to mow my lawn for me ... no one to say - go get a manicure sweetie - I got this ... no one to say "no problem - I can fix this." As usual I can't count on any man in my life - even the inanimate ones. Maybe I should have named her Lucy - I bet she would have lasted another five years.
