An idea to chew on ...
Today I signed up to proctor the Biology HSA at Eastern to Alternative Ed students. I was kicking myself the whole way there. "Why did I decide to do this again? When will I have the financial security I dream about so I don't have to work 3 to 5 jobs? Why is NO not a part of my vocabulary?" I should be at Curves working out instead of drinking coffee with cream and sugar to stay awake....
I don't believe in my 17 years with Baltimore County Public Schools that I have ever had the opportunity or reason to enter Eastern High School. I'm so glad that today I did. I was smacked in the face with an idea that had WIN WIN written all over it. The myriad of banners hanging from the ceiling wishing graduating seniors luck and well wishes gave me chills. Thanks to Eastern Tech, AVID is about to create another New Town tradition!
