More AVID Family celebrations:
Asia and Erica are both getting paid to go to school. They earned full ride scholarships and are getting more money on top of that. Now that's HOT!
Dymon has earned over $200,000 in scholarship money ...
11 students in AVID 10 made Honor Roll.
3 AVID scholars made all A's.
AC and Chris are going to room together at Chowan and are both already registered for their fall courses. Both of them are getting athletic and academic scholarships and AC blogged about it all. My heart was singing when I read it - it absolutely solidified WHY I started this project in the first place - so I could meander through their lives, hearts and minds during this tumultuous year via the written word.
After school coach class ... Tracey and Richard showed up today. Richard wanted help registering for the SAT's and Tracey is just tired of getting grades that don't reflect his intelligence or potential.
It is 4:00 and I am blogging. Stress is down - cup is full. Life is good.
