Can I be honest and say that I cheated on Day 1?! I didn't actually take this photograph but because today commemorates my dear friend Nicole Cathirell's 30th birthday, I just had to have this photo be my first. Nicole has become one of my closest friends. When I left RHS and the women I worked with for so many years, I felt a void. I loved working at New Town and loved the kids but there was something missing. The "something missing" was the daily dose of friendship that had become my vitamin. Nicole is my New Town vitamin - she fills me with energy, love and grace. I am blessed to call her my friend and my coworker.
Today is also my father's 69th birthday. I would be amiss to leave him out. Am I really old enough to have a parent at the cusp of 70?! May God grant him many more years of good health and prosperity.
